  • The average on Exam 1 was 158 out of 200 (79% B on our scale), high 200, low 67. Answer keys are posted in LON-CAPA. Scores are now in the Gradebook. You can also see your scantron results here.

  • Monday, September 25 during class time we will have informal Exam Review 1 for students who want to ask questions and discuss topics.

  • Exam 1 is Monday, September 25 from 7:00-9:00 PM in 141 Loomis. The deadline to request a conflict exam is Wednesday, September 20 by 5:00 PM. The conflict request form can be found here.

  • Friday, September 1 is the last day to add the course. Email Alejandra Stenger at astenger@illinois.edu if you have any questions. The course is currently at capacity. You may add your name to the online waitlist at https://go.illinois.edu/mcb408_FA23_waitlist

  • To access secure portions of the course website, like lecture material and exam information, please log in using your netID and Active Directory (AD) password.

  • Any students who need special accomodations and have a DRES letter should email the letter to Alejandra Stenger by the end of second week of classes (Friday, September 1).

  • Classes begin Monday, August 21 in 4029 Campus Instructional Facility (CIF). Discussions begin August 24 in 7 Burrill Hall (in the MCB Learning Center, lower level).

  • The course website is in the process of being updated for Fall 2023.

  • The staff members supporting MCB 408 are more than happy to assist students in whatever ways that we can. As a student, please remember that when you email a staff member, it is important to include all pertinent information so that we can assist you in the most efficient and effective manner possible. This information includes:

    1. Your full first and last name
    2. Your NetID (the first part of your illinois.edu email account, course staff will NOT respond to emails from non-university email accounts)
    3. Your UIN (9 digit number that you use to register for classes)
    4. The course that you are concerned about (the staff members often work with multiple courses)
    5. Your section letter/number
    6. The previous email "thread" or previous communicated information pertinent to the situation
