About MCB 250

Welcome

From: Nicholas Kirchner

Dear Students,

I would like to welcome you to MCB 250, Molecular Genetics. Over the course of the spring semester, we are going to study genetic variation, gene organization, gene expression, and gene regulation in a variety of organisms. I am responsible for many administrative aspects of the course. The best way to get ahold of me is through email kirchner@illinois.edu if your question cannot be answered in an email I am happy to set up an in-person or zoom meeting to address any questions you might have about the course. My office is in 217a Burrill Hall. Staff members are also available in 127 Burrill Hall, the MCB Core Curriculum Office, to help you every day between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. If you prefer, you may call us at 244-6239. If we are unable to answer, please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can. I hope you enjoy MCB 250 and I appreciate any feedback you have throughout the semester.

Best,

Nicholas Kirchner
