About MCB 250

Welcome

Dear Students,

I would like to welcome you to MCB 250, Molecular Genetics. Over the course of the summer semester, we are going to study genetic variation, gene organization, gene expression, and gene regulation in a variety of organisms. MCB 250 will be offered in-person during the summer 2023 semester. I am responsible for many administrative aspects of the course. My office is in 217a Burrill Hall and I am usually available from 10 am-5 pm. If I am not available there are also staff members are available in 127 Burrill Hall, the MCB Core Curriculum Office, to help you every day between 8:30 am and 4:30pm. If we are unable to answer, please leave a message, and we will call you back as soon as we can. I would like to ask each of you to take a minute to read the information about the course that is presented on the course website. This information is meant to help you when you are not certain what to do or where to go when you have a problem that effects your work in MCB 250. Please feel free to email me or drop by my office if you have questions or concerns. I hope you enjoy MCB 250.

Sincerely,

Nick Kirchner
