48-Trifoliolate leaves

[FMP-field: image]

A trifoliolate leaf is a compound leaf with 3 leaflets, like the leaves of wild strawberry, Fragaria virginiana, in this photo.

The word "Trifoliate" means with three leaves as with the genus Trillium (Liliaceae).
