Vegetative

1-Vegetative Morphology

[FMP-field: image]

Plants exhibit an amazing variety in their vegetative structure. This unit provides an introduction into the different vegetative organs and some of the diversity, modifications, and adaptations that can be found.

To see the list of vegetative terms, see your class notes or click on the "lecture text" button in the lower right corner of the Digital Flowers window.

This unit of Digital Flowers was developed by Dr. Christine Desfeux.

The tree in this photo is very rare, Clethra arborea, which is found only on mountains on the island of Madeira.
