Arabidopsis Calmodulin Expression Vectors

Calmodulin (CaM) is easily expressed and purified from cultures of transformed E. coli.  The table below lists the different types of CaM-expressing plasmids we have constructed. All are based on the pET vector backbones.  They all are stable and can be expressed in E. coli BL21(DE3). For mutagenesis and routine cloning, however, an E. coli K12 strain should be used like TOP10, XL10 or DH5a.
