The Plant Biology Greenhouse is located in the Plant Sciences Lab near the southeast corner of the Urbana campus. The street address is 1201 S. Dorner Drive (Dorner Drive is just 4 blocks long and connects the east end of Gregory Dr. with Pennsylvania Ave.) and the Conservatory is the tall greenhouse room just south of the main (east) entrance to the building. The Conservatory and Plant Collections are open to the public from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm when the U of I is open. However, please note that scheduled class tours, special events, and some work activities may limit access to the some or all greenhouse rooms.

From out of town, take I-74 to the Lincoln Avenue exit (Exit 183 - this is the 3rd Champaign/Urbana exit from the east or west). Take Lincoln Avenue south 2.4 miles to the first 4-way stop sign (just after the first 3-way stop sign you pass through). At the 4-way stop (also marked by a grove of trees on the northwest corner at this intersection), turn west on Pennsylvania Avenue. Dorner Drive is 2 blocks west of Lincoln Avenue at the first stop sign you come to on Pennsylvania Avenue. At the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Dorner Drive, there is a tennis court at the northeast corner and you will be able to see the greenhouses to the northwest. Turn north on Dorner Drive towards the Plant Sciences Lab. On most days, you'll be able to park on the street. (You'll have to feed the parking meters though.)
