[FMP-field: image]

The plume poppy, Macleaya microcarpa, are tall plants (5-8 feet) and large plume-like inflorescences. The flowers lack petals and are wind pollinated. Native to China and Japan, the plume poppy is often cultivated, especially in botanical gardens.
