Inflorescences

9-Cauliflory

[FMP-field: image]

Cauliflory-This term refers to flowers being produced directly upon woody stems or trunks.

This example is eastern redbud (Cercis canadensis).

Right now I am thinking of another plant that has cauliflorus inflorescences- that's right, chocolate! Be right back..... Ken R.
