3-Flower to fruit

In the longitudinal section of the flower on the left you can see the superior ovary. In the development of the fruit, the sepals, petals, and stamens fall off and the ovary elongates to form the mature fruit, seen on the right.

This plant is another mustard, Hesperis matronalis, rocket.
