16-Distinct floral parts

In the flower of Hepatica nobilis (this example), the floral parts are distinct: it means that similar parts (those of same embryonic origin) are not fused. The sepals, stamens, and carpels are all distinct in this flower.

The showy parts here are sepals, petals are absent and the green structures behind the flower are bracts.
