3-Geranium

The flowers of wild geranium (Geranium maculatum) are also 5-merous. There are 5 distinct green sepals, 5 distinct pink flowers, an androecium of 10 distinct stamens, and a gynoecium of 5 connate carpels (a syncarpous gynoecium). The ovary is superior.

The flowers are actinomorphic, and there is no adnation of any of the parts.

The flowers are perfect and complete, and the plants are synoecious.
