2008
Wow-how things change!  In fall 2007 we found out that we were expecting-those were the longest 8 1/2 months ever!

We distracted ourselves for a little while with a trip to Disney World in January, where we stayed with Aunt Kelly and Uncle Eric and visited with our good friends, Marcia, and Mickey Mouse.

On April 22, 2008, our little miracle, Samantha Grace Walden was born at 5:25pm weighing 6lbs 4oz and measuring 19 inches long.  Spencer's big brother instincts kicked in, and he's been a third parent ever since!  Here's the whole gang before we left the hospital and the famous "Look" that I was given.

Samantha was one week old here and still a bit orange from jaundice, not from too many carrots!

Spencer finished up his first grade year in June with his teacher, Mrs. Milewski, who retired at the end of this  year.

Here's Mike with his extra special Father's Day presents.

Samantha was baptized in July; here's the family.

We're now getting regular smiles and giggles!

Spencer played soccer again this fall and had a lot of fun.

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with Aunt Kelly, and Sam had fun watching the action.

For Halloween, Spencer dressed as Captain Rex from Star Wars, and Sam dressed as a cow.

Mike's parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November; here's the whole gang.
