Instructions to request data retrieval

You may request that we restore items ranging from individual files to folders and even entire disks. You may also specify a time period from which you wish a particular set of items; indeed, you may even request that we restore a series of versions spread over a period of time.

Given that each week adds dozens of gigabytes of data to our catalogs, a higher specificity in your request will result in speedier response from us. In addition to the required Client Name or Remote Name, information such as the most recent viable date, disk name, parent folder, or even the entire directory path may help us uniquely identify your data.

You may ask that we restore your data directly to your computer or to your private area on one of our file servers. For a small file, we may simply email it to you, if you so desire. We prefer restoring your files directly to your computer; such involves the fewest hassles for both you and us. However, you must have enough disk space to accommodate files we will restore, and you should also grant us access privileges to your computer.

To actually request data retrieval, simply complete the restore request form.
