The Miller Lab Research Areas

We are currently interested in "mechanisms of intracellular protein breakdown and proteolytic modification; anaerobic regulation of gene expression".

We employ FPLC, HPLC, Fluorescent tag labeling/detection, protein N-terminal sequencing, various hybridization techniques, 2-D electrophoresis, mutagenesis, molecular cloning, nucleotide sequencing, NMR, gel shift assay, Mass spectrometry and many other methods in our research.

Our favorite bug is Salmonella typhimurium. Our favorite proteins are peptidases.
