Several NIH-funded postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Brenda A. Wilson in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. There are several diverse projects available to study the structure-function and molecular mechanisms of action of bacterial protein toxins, as well as the design of novel anti-toxin therapeutics and diagnostics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology, Biochemistry or a related field with a strong background in molecular biology or protein biochemistry.
