2006 Bot Spit-Ball Competition (Tournament #2)

406B1 Engr Hall (Linux Lab), 1:00 PM, Thu Apr 27, 2006

Tournament Bracket

Student-designed bots compete in a 'basketball for bots' tournament. Since our pac-man style bots don't have arms, they shoot by 'spitting' toward the target region. More details on BOT SPIT-BALL can be found in hw12.

Tournament Rules

  1. Players will be paired according to the following bracket.
  2. Each game lasts 200 seconds. The team with highest score at the end of the game moves forward to the next round of the tournament. Scoring details are described in hw12.
  3. To balance the brackets, a subset of players may compete against a default controller in the early rounds, rather than against another student.
  4. Students that successfully move into the 'Elite Eight' round of the tournament will receive 1 EXTRA CREDIT POINT.
  5. Spit long and prosper!
