We wanted to provide you with information should the GEO strike occur on
Feb. 26 as
is currently planned. First and foremost, we want you to know that class
will go on
as scheduled. Our objective is to fulfill our obligation to you as
students. Should they choose to strike, the GEO has the right to picket
peacefully. They do not have the right to block your access to your
classes. Should this occur, you may call campus police at 333-0050 for
assistance. You have the right to make a choice about whether or not you
wish to cross the picket line. Since we will be ensuring that classes
will be conducted as usual, any absence from class will result in the same
consequence as an unexcused absence. If you have any questions or
concerns, please feel free to contact Nicholas Kirchner
(email@example.com) or any other MCB Instructional Program staff at
217-244-6239. We continue to be hopeful for a quick resolution.
The first lon-capa assignment will open today Friday February 16th at 5 PM. It will be due on Friday February 23rd at 8 PM. Please login early to complete this assignment to ensure you do not have any technical difficulties. A few more things to note: You can change your answer without penalty for this assignment and your last submission prior to the due date is what will be graded..
