From one of our quiz questions, the answer to the question "Which one of the following statements about the 10-nm level of chromatin packaging is incorrect?" was the statement: "Histone H1 is not part of an experimentally-prepared 10-nm fiber." Why is this statement incorrect? Isn't H1 part of the chromatosome, which would be on the 10nm fiber?
