Spring 2017 Getting Started
The Pearson web site keeps telling me that the Course ID mehrtens30799 does not exist. Is this the correct Course ID?
Yes, it is the correct Course ID, but 99 times out of 100 when this happens, the student is attempting to enter that Course ID into masteringbiology.com and not pearsonmastering.com. As I said in class on the first day, these are two separate systems (both owned by Pearson) and what works in one system WILL NOT work in the other. First and foremost, make sure you're logging into pearsonmastering.com and then try our valid Course ID. If you continue to have issues after that, please do a screencapture and send me the pictures of what it looks like when you have trouble. It helps tremendously in getting to the bottom of what's going on.
