DNA Structure and Replication

ID #1721

Does each individual Okazaki fragment have a 5' end and a 3' end?

Yes, until its RNA bases are removed, replaced with DNA, and sealed with ligase. Then it is part of a continuous strand which would include all the Okazaki fragments together (and the leading strand on the other side of the ori).
