What is SLP?

It's one of the two ways to make ATP. The other is oxidative phosphorylation.
It can occur in glycolysis and Kreb's: two reactions in glycolysis and once in Kreb's. Also, SLP can occur in aerobic or anaerobic. But remember that in anaerobic respiration, the SLP all comes from glycolysis; there are no SLP reactions in a fermentation pathway. In aerobic, 36 net ATP is made. In anaerobic, it's only 2 because there is no oxidation phosphorylation, which is the other way to make ATP.
