The Cell Cycle and Events of M-Phase

ID #1366

In order to make the nuclear pore complexes break down, kinases add phosphate groups to a few of the different proteins that make up a pore right?

While we're not going to specifically go into what makes the components of a nuclear pore complex lose their affinity for each other, most regulatory mechanisms involved in M-phase do indeed come down to phosphorylation/dephosphorylation.
