I have written in my notes that the head group of the dynein is anchored to the B tubule of the axoneme and the way the picture is drawn seems like it has to be the other way around. I was just wondering if I had copied that down wrong.

The head groups of the dynein motors do indeed contact the B tubule of an adjacent doublet, but I don't think I'd use the word "anchored." The tail groups are anchored, but into the A tubule of a different doublet.
