Microtubules

Does axoneme have anything to do with axon?

Despite the similarity in terminology, no. An axoneme is the functional unit of a flagellum or cilium, while an axon is an extension of a nerve cell. Nerve cells have axons and dendrites, not cilia or flagella, and the microtubules in an axon or dendrite are not in a 9+2 pattern.
