I am a little confused about protein transport into the mitochondria. Are there four or five energy dependent steps for a protein to get into the mitochondria?

There are four ATP-dependent steps for a protein to enter the mitochondria, but there are five energy-dependent steps. The four ATP-dependent steps are shown in the figure from Lecture 25. There is also a step that involves indirect energy from the electrochemical gradient that exists in the mitochondria which aids in the protein traveling through Tim.
