Does the nucleolus actually contains chromatin? If it does is it heterochromatin?

With the exception of mitotic chromosomes, the distinction between euchromatin and heterochromatin is more a function of how much work is being done on the chromatin than it is on how much space it's taking up. With mitotic chromosomes, the whole point is to get as compact as possible.
