During tRNA charging does amino acid bind to the 2' Carbon atom of ribose sugar or the 3' Carbon atom?

Interesting observation that it could be either. In fact, some get charged to their 2' OH and others get charged to their 3' OH. There are two different classes of aminoacyl tRNA synthetases, based on which ribose carbon they attach their amino acid to. But that's the subject of another MCB course...
