Transcription and RNA Processing

ID #1739

Since RNA polymerase core enzymes are for eukaryotes, does that mean that RNA Polymerase I, II, and III are types of RNA polymerase core enzymes?

Just to keep things as clear and simple as possible for this course, if I use the phrase "core enzyme," I'm specifically referring to the bacterial RNA polymerase that does not include the sigma subunit. If I'm referring to one of the eukaryotic RNA polymerases, I'll just call it by name and not use words like core enzyme or holoenzyme.
