Transcription and RNA Processing

ID #2055

Most eukaryotic DNA is not a template for protein/RNA. Does this mean that most genes are not transcribed? Also, do "non-protein coding" parts of the genome contain no genetic information?

No, all genes are transcribed (somewhere, at some point), but not all DNA is genes.
