• Global atmospheric change impacts on crops with an empahsis on CO₂ and O₃
  
• Improving C4 photosynthesis
  
• Biomass energy crops including Miscanthus, switchgrass, sorghum, sugarcane and energycane
  
• Mathematical models of photosynthesis and plant productivity
