Vacation - Automated E-mail Replies

You may set up an automated reply to e-mail sent to you with the Unix program vacation. It will check each message you receive and automatically respond with a pre-set acknowledgement. To prevent annoyance, vacation will only reply to a given sender once a week. Vacation will only respond to messages directed explicitly to you (the To: or the Cc: line). This allows you to keep your subscriptions to mailing lists active without bothering the rest of the list members with your vacation responses.

To enable or disable vacation:

If your mail account is on the life.illinois.edu server, go to https://www-s.life.illinois.edu/cgi-bin/vacation-cgi.
