Fruits

1-Introduction to Fruits

Aren't people lucky that plants produce fruits? We usually think of fruits as being tasty, juicy, and nutritious.

But why do plants produce fruits? To reproduce. Fruits contain the seeds that produce future generations of plants.

Fruits develop from the ovary of a flower, and seeds develop from the ovules.
