The Fig. shows kinetics of cyt bH after one or several flashes, in uninhibited chromatophores, or in the presence of antimycin, at several different degrees of reduction of the quinone pool.
In strain K251D/D252K, note the extensive reduction of cyt b in the absence of antimycin when the pool is oxidized, and the relatively slow oxidation rate when the cytochrome is reduced before the flash.
