Secondary Structure Plots of Sequence

The first three helices from the cytochrome b model

The SeqPlot Window allows you to construct a secondary structural cartoon using the sequence information and current structural model. The structures available are:

The cartoon can be output to file or the Windows printer. Size of structures can be pre-set, making it possible to draw helical cylinders to a defined circumference. The printed structures can be cut out and formed on rods (balsa wood from the model shop is good) of appropriate size, and strung together with stout wire to make a helical model.
