Candy Feller, Rachel Borgatti, and J. -P. Schmitt (November 6th-20th)
Goals and Objectives:
1. Cut dead wood and measure its biomass.
2. Service the main floc experiment.
3. Measure herbivory at the FIG site.
4. Make measurements of propagule herbivory
5. Collect decomposition experiment bags.
6. Do transect tree biomass surveys at multiple sites.
7. Collect material for fungal biomass study.
8. Collect lichens at different tree heights for isotopic and identification analysis.

Catherine Lovelock (November 27th to January 8th)
Goals and Objectives:
1. Measure hydraulic conductivity in stems and roots.
2. Measure photosynthesis and respiration with LAI.
3. Study propagule physiology.
4. Collaborate with Marilyn Ball, Australia.

1. Collaborate with Urich on Twin Cays hydrology.
2. Map out and design a mangrove boardwalk at Punta Gorda.

Marc Frischer and J.-P. Schmitt (5th-12th February)
Goals and Objectives:
1. Perform leaf decomposition succession studies.
2. Sample bacteria and fungi in the dry season.
3. Determine the C:N:P:S of bacteria and fungi.
4. Measure net heterotrophic microbial respiration.

Myrna Jacobson (February 5th-26th)
Goals and Objectives:
1. Perform Nutrient Root perfusion studies.
2. Perform Nutrient Sediment perfusion studies.
3. Start second round of Incubation experiments.
4. Pull and analyze the Peepers.

Marilyn Fogel and Matthew Wooller (February 12th-26th)
Goals and Objectives:
1. Measure _15N of ammonium in sediments and gases.
2. Fill in gaps in the Grid station data.
3. Collect lichens for isotopic and biomass analysis.
4. Measure biomass of land snails.
5. Investigate three other mangrove islands for isotopic signals.
6. Trace dispersion of mangrove leaves by wind and water.
7. Start 15N tracer experiments in 4 places.

John Cheeseman (February 12th-26th)
Goals and Objectives:
1. Collaborate with Clough (pending CCRE approval and BC schedule)
2. Measure water relations in leaves and stems
3. Study tannin leaching
4. Develop proxies for stomatal conductance.
5. NPQ analysis
