Water Quality Lesson Plans for K-8 Teachers
Welcome!
This website provides authentic, hands-on activities for students to learn more about aquatic ecology through field and lab activities. This lesson sequence focuses on the effects of nutrients on local lakes and ponds. We have designed these activities with central Illinois lakes and ponds in mind (see "Illinois Sites"), but any water bodies can be used.
