2007-2008:

2006-2007:

• We celebrated the end of the fall semester by having a pizza party and general meeting.

2005-2006:

• IBS volunteers led fun science activities and demonstrations for local children at the Orpheum Children's Science Museum. More photos can be seen here.
• We had our annual IBS picnic in Hessel park on Oct 1st. Photos are posted here.
• We began our academic year by welcoming our new Graduate Students. We had a Welcome Reception hosted by the Department of Biophysics and Computational Biology. The photos of the reception are posted here.

2004-2005:

• 
• Biophyics graduate students taught 60 local girl scouts ages 6-12 about the science of making ice-cream this summer. The seven volunteers (Hanneli Hudock, Ulai Noomnarm, Elizabeth Villa, Glen Redford, Shwayta Kukreti, Molly Rosow and Sharlene Denos) helped the girls make ice cream using rock salt, ice, salt and sugar. This event was part of an ongoing effort by IBS to bring fun science activities and demonstrations to kids in the local community. The photos at the event are posted here.
