NEW REQUIREMENT FOR STUDENTS BEGINNING PROGRAM IN FALL 2011:
Students who are primarily involved in experimental research are required to take either BIOP 590C or Klaus Schulten’s new course in Physics (CRN to be determined). Students who are primarily involved in computational research are required to take either PHYS 598OM or BIOC 455. If a student can show they have taken a comparable course as an undergraduate or graduate student, they can petition to waive the requirement.
(Students who began prior to Fall 2011 are exempt, though encouraged to participate if so desire.)
