Environmental Concerns Assignment:
  1. Look through Chapter 45 of Life, 5th ed. by Lewis, et. al. Select a topic dealing with an environmental issue that interests you;
  2. Find and read an article in a newspaper, news magazine, science magazine or journal, or WWW site;
  3. Bring a copy of the article to lab class the week of Jan. 28-30 and be prepared to discuss it.
Assign Fast Plant experimental design, pg A9, 1-4 and 6 a-e due in lab Jan 27-29.
The preliminary research report will be assigned the following week.

This assignment includes a one page preliminary research report on your independent variable (part 5) - due in lab the week of Feb. 3-5.
